Description
End of terrace three-storey rendered house, built c.1924. Rectangular on plan facing north, built as one of four identical houses on the south side of Park Road. Pitched natural slate, roll-moulded terracotta ridge tiles, redbrick chimneystack and plastic guttering to timber fascia. Painted rough-cast rendered walling. Square-headed window openings with rendered surrounds, masonry sills and timber sash windows with ogee horns. Front elevation is two windows wide with a three-sided canted bay window to the ground floor having replacement uPVC window on concrete sill. Off-centre square-headed door opening with original double-leaf flat-panelled timber doors, rectangular overlight and three-centred arched concrete canopy supported on concrete brackets. Door opens onto stone step to concrete paved footpath. East side elevation abutted by adjoining house No.39 (HB26/02/020B). Redbrick three-storey rear elevation abutted by lower gable-ended two-storey redbrick return. Square-headed window openings with some replacement concrete lintels, masonry sills and uPVC windows. Gabled west side elevation is blank with redbrick walling laid in English garden wall bond. Setting: Forming part of a terrace of four similar houses lining the north side of Park Road.
