Description
This was formerly a terrace of one-and-a-half-storey rubble stone dwellings, dating before 1833. The terrace originally comprised five cottages with attics, built of rubble greystone with brick dressings around windows and doors, and brick segmental arches above the openings. The timber sash windows retained full glazing bars, except for two which had horizontal glazing. Sheeted doors were flanked by two windows in two of the houses. Two cottages had one door and two windows on one side, while the fifth had three windows to one side of the door, with this final bay being entirely of brick. The terrace appeared on an Ordnance Survey map of 1833. The buildings have since been demolished and replaced with a modern development of bungalows. The buildings held no specific architectural or historical interest, and are not listed. This record is based on a partial survey.
