Description
The building was a former early nineteenth-century cottage, originally harled and whitened with a slated roof. It has since been demolished and replaced with modern housing. The First Survey card describes the cottage as being pre-1833. It had a gable rising to a chimney stack and another set asymmetrically on the ridge. Three sash windows with a vertical division were present, along with a projecting porch supported by an extension of the main roof on the front elevation. The door was sheeted. An Ordnance Survey map from 1833 shows the building at that time. The property is not listed and possesses no recorded architectural or historical interest. A partial survey was undertaken on 9 December 1971.
