This was formerly a single-storey, hearth-lobby entry long vernacular house with an attached byre and a windbreak porch. It stood on Scarva Road, Ballyvarley, Banbridge, and was demolished and replaced with a modern house. The First Survey card, dated 3 September 1971, described it as having harled and whitened walls and a corrugated iron roof. The entrance was recessed within a projecting porch extending from the main roof. It had sash windows, with two six-pane windows on either side of the entrance. There was also an outhouse door on the front elevation, which was sheeted to resemble the main entrance door. The house was not depicted on the 1833 Ordnance Survey map but was shown on the 1859 Ordnance Survey map. The listing record is a partial survey only, and the building holds no specific architectural or historical interest.
