18 Valley Road, Ballycross, BANBRIDGE, Co Down, BT32 4HP

This is a three-bay, two-storey stucco house built around 1870. It is a relatively late example of a common building type. The house is set within a farmyard and has gardens to the front and side. Although possessing some interest, it does not meet the criteria for statutory or policy protection as a building of special architectural or historic interest. Initially, the building identified in a survey image was incorrectly located across the road; however, the contractors have now identified the correct building based on map location. A similar house visible across the road corresponds to an earlier survey image.
