Description

This was a former two-storey house with a basement, built before 1833. It had a symmetrical plan with five windows across the front. The first recorded survey noted that the roof was originally monopitched but was replaced with a steeply pitched roof, leading to the house being locally known as ‘The Salt Box’. The building has since been demolished and replaced with a modern house. A partial survey was undertaken.
