The property consists of a main dwelling, a single-storey house, a barn, and a more recent outbuilding. The main dwelling has been significantly altered. Externally, the walls have been rendered with sand and cement, brick chimneys have been added, and window openings have been enlarged and regularised with late 20th century timber windows. A modest porch has also been added to the front elevation, and the internal layout has been changed. The house was likely constructed between 1820 and 1839 and has undergone considerable changes over time.

The single-storey house has rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof covered with tin. It dates to before 1832. A 1.5 storey barn is attached to the southern end of the house, and a 20th century single-storey outbuilding is attached to the northern side. The house is situated close to the River Bann at the north end of Derrinraw Road. The most notable remaining feature is the unsawn timber roof structure of the thatched barn. The building’s vernacular style and thatched roof are characteristic features. The property is not considered to be of sufficient architectural merit to warrant listing.
