Description

Site, to the southeast side of Drumgor Lane, off Drumgor West Road, just southwest of Drumgor (Craigavon), formerly occupied by a single-storey vernacular house of pre 1835 construction, demolished post 1972. In the first survey report of January 1972 reads: ‘Single-storey cottage with lower extension on left hand [southwest] side. Main roof thatched, gable ends, rendered chimneystacks. Walls rendered and whitened. Four drop-hung [i.e sash] windows [with] vertical astragals. Central sheeted door. Left hand extension has a corrugated-iron roof, gabled end and rubble walls. Front flower garden. Condition fair, roof poor. Front about 76ft. Nothing remains of the building, with even the ground showing no obivious evidence of a structure once having stood there.
