Description
This is a single-storey gate-lodge, dating to the mid-eighteenth century, originally serving Killaire House. The lodge is situated at the entrance to Killaire House, off Killaire Road, west of Bangor. It has been altered and refurbished at various times, and does not meet the criteria for statutory listing. The building has undergone a partial survey and was previously recorded twice under numbers HB23/15/002 and HB23/15/056, now renumbered as HB23/15/001B.
