Crosshillburn Bridge, off Ballydrain Road, Cattogs, Comber, Co. Down

This is a small, rubble-built bridge carrying a road over the Cross Hill Burn, likely dating from the early to mid-19th century, between 1820 and 1839. The bridge is located off the Ballydrain Road, approximately a mile south of Comber, in the townland of Cattogs. It consists of a single, roughly elliptical arch and low rubble parapets. The road surface above the bridge is now tarmac. A bridge at this location is depicted on Ordnance Survey maps of 1834 and 1858, the latter identifying it as "Crosshillburn Bridge." The structure exhibits characteristics of industrial archaeological interest.
