Description
76 and 78 Holyrood Street are two houses built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco and feature a slate roof with stepped stone coping on the left gable end. The buildings have a double-depth plan and rise to two storeys with a two-window range. The central entrance consists of paired mid-20th century half-glazed doors, which are adorned with fluted pilasters, a moulded cornice, and panelled reveals. To the left of the doors is a tripartite 6/6-pane sash window, while to the right is a fixed-light shallow-bowed shop window, which has four rows of six panes and is topped with a shallow tongued-and-grooved fascia featuring a moulded cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
