Description
No. 27 New Street is a house dating from around 1800. It has a rendered and colourwashed exterior over rubble and features a triple roll clay tiled roof with coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with the third bay being the end gable of a cross wing, forming an L-plan. The windows are sash style in plain openings, with 12 panes on the ground floor and 9 panes on the first floor. The entrance is located in the lower bay 2 and consists of a 6-flush-panel door set in a slight recess, topped with a timber hood supported by wrought-iron brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
