Description

No. 51 Silver Street is a cottage dating from the 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble and features a double-Roman tile roof with a coped verge. A brick stack sits on a projecting rubble base with offsets. The cottage is two storeys high and has a single bay road frontage. On the ground floor, there is a 2-light bead-moulded stone-mullioned window, while the first floor has a 2-light casement window set in a freestone surround. The door opening is located on the left return and features a half-glazed door.
