Description

Blake is a pair of attached cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of random rubble with pantile roofs and feature two brick ridge stacks. The cottages are two storeys high and have a layout of four bays to one. They are fitted with 16-pane sash windows, with the windows at number 30 set in plain stone surrounds, while the ground floor window of number 28 is located under a wooden lintel. There are two door openings with 20th-century half-glazed doors, each topped with a 20th-century pantile hood supported by wooden brackets. To the left, there is a further broad door opening with double plank doors beneath a wooden lintel.
