Description
This is a 17th-century house located at 39 High Street. It is constructed of random rubble with a coped verge on the left and features a double-Roman tile roof with two brick stacks. The house has a symmetrical frontage with two storeys and three bays. It includes two-light hollow-moulded stone-mullioned windows, with those on the ground floor positioned under stopped labels. The windows have glazing bar casements or sash windows in a similar style for each light. The entrance features a late 19th-century four-panelled door, with the top two lights glazed, and is complemented by a late 19th-century gabled porch that has a glass roof and cast iron panelling on each side. To the right, there is a two-storey late 19th-century outshut with a single sash window on each floor.
