Description

Nos 4 and 5 Cornhill are tall three-storey buildings with a painted brick front that reflects 18th-century character. The roof is not visible. The first floor features two sash windows set under wooden lintels. On the ground floor, there is a blocked elliptical carriage arch and a pair of arched brick door heads. To the left, there is a 19th-century shop front, and to the right, a small-paned shop window that is slightly buckled. Nos 4 and 5, along with the Town Hall, the Offices of Wellington Weekly News, and Nos 1 to 5 (odd) Fore Street, form a group.
