Description
Rexworthy Farmhouse is a farmhouse with attached outbuildings, situated on a site that has medieval origins and is enclosed on three sides by a wet moat, which is crossed by two footbridges. The exterior primarily features 19th-century elements, with some 20th-century work. The building has a roughly U-shaped plan and is constructed of colourwashed rubble and brick, topped with hipped and gabled slate roofs and brick stacks. It stands two storeys tall with irregular window arrangements. The garden front includes two-light casements, a half-glazed panelled door with panelled reveals and a fluted surround, and a porch that has a 'tent' canopy hood supported by slender wooden piers. There are two narrow footbridges made of brick and rubble, one of which has iron railings and a gate, along with urn finials. Inside, the farmhouse features exposed ceiling beams.
