Description

The Old Bakehouse Restaurant is a house and shop dating from the 19th century. It features a facade made of ham stone ashlar, with red brick in English garden wall bond on the south gable. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, with an abutment to the north and a plain gable to the south, and there are brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a single bay. Above, there is a 16-pane sash window set in a plain opening. Below, there is a 2-light shop window with a simple fascia above, and to the right, a 6-fielded panel door is set in a beaded semi-circular arch, accessed by two steps, with a plain fanlight above. The interior has not been seen.
