Description

Amberwell is a house dating from the 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared Cary stone, with some lias, and has a double-Roman tiled roof, along with brick stacks. The house has two storeys and two bays, featuring 2- and 3-light casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. The ground-floor windows are topped by wooden lintels. A door opening is located on the right-hand side, leading to a plank door sheltered by a gabled hood with concrete tiles supported by slender wooden elements. The building is included on the list primarily due to its group value.
