Description
Orchards is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared Cary stone and features a double-Roman tiled roof with coped verges and brick stacks on stone bases. The building has two storeys and an attic, which is highlighted by large 20th-century dormer gables. The windows are moulded stone-mullioned, with configurations of 2, 3, and 4 lights, some of which have been restored. There is a 20th-century porch designed in a matching style, topped with a stone-tiled roof, and it includes a 20th-century ribbed inner door.
