Description

A terrace of three houses located on Silver Street, Chard, dating from the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of painted brick with a pantile roof and brick stacks. They follow a double-depth plan. Each house originally had a single-window range.

Number 66 has a mid-19th century four-panel door to the right, accompanied by 2/2-pane sash windows. Number 64 features a Georgian-style six-panel door, installed in the 1980s, to the left, with a built-in fanlight positioned under a semi-circular gauged brick arch that contains an original fanlight. This house also has 8/8-pane sash windows on both floors. Number 62 has an original six-panel door, now glazed, to the left, also with a fanlight, and 8/8-pane sash windows on both floors, featuring 20th-century mock shutters. The interior was not inspected.
