Description
No. 3 Cornhill is a shop with a dwelling, built in the early 19th century. It features a limestone ashlar facade, while the rest of the building is constructed of brick, with a truncated brick stack located on the right return. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall, with a two-window range. The flat arches above the windows have flush keystones and consist of two courses high. A coped parapet with stepped ends is positioned above the rusticated quoins, and there is a fine projecting cornice that returns to the right but is broken to the left, along with a cill band at the second floor. The upper floors have plate-glass windows without horns, while the ground floor features a 20th-century shop front. The interior has not been inspected.
