Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 19 metres west of the west end of the Church of St Michael. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of Portland stone with blue lias panels. The tomb features a flat top, a moulded cornice, a billeted frieze, and fluted pilasters at the corners. At the time of the survey in March 1984, the tomb was almost completely obscured by ivy.
