Description
Clanville House Farmhouse is a detached house dated 1749. It is built of Cary stone near-ashlar on a lias stone plinth, topped with a Welsh slate roof between coped gables and featuring brick end chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three bays. It includes sash windows in plain openings, with large panes; the lower windows are paired while the upper ones have margins, all under timber lintels. The central entrance features a 6-panel door set in an architrave with a moulded anse-de-panier hood supported by console brackets. Above the door, there is a stone inscription that reads 'R E M A 1749'. There is a single storey addition to the west gable. The interior has not been seen.
