Description

The detached gate piers and forecourt wall to the Congregational Chapel, built in 1729, are made of ashlar. The structure features tall square piers topped with moulded caps and ball finials. There is a pair of ornamental iron gates with spear capping, and the wall has coping that ramps down to each side. Three steps lead up to the gateway, and adjacent to the right is a mounting block with three steps.
