Description
The forecourt railings, plinth, piers, and gates to Manor Hall and School were constructed in 1873 for Reverend J. H. Stephenson. They feature low cast and wrought iron railings set on a rubble plinth. At each end, there is a rubble pier topped with a dressed stone cross-gabled cap. There are two gateways, each with paired wrought and cast iron gates designed in a matching style. The gateway on the right includes a lamp overthrow, although the lamp was missing at the time of the re-survey in March 1984.
