Description

The Bevils family monument is a chest tomb located about 9 meters north of the north aisle of the Church of St Nicholas. It dates from the 18th century and is made of Ham stone. The tomb features a ledger top, a moulded cornice, and a plinth. The end pilasters are divided horizontally into three unequal parts and have raised and fielded panels. The north face is inscribed to Mary Bevils, who died in 1757, while the south face is illegible.
