Description

The haystore at Stowey Farm is an 18th-century structure built from coursed and squared rubble and ashlar, topped with a tripe-Roman tiled roof featuring coped verges and a ball finial. The building has a rectangular shape with six bays on each long side, separated by ashlar piers. Some of the spaces between the piers are filled with weatherboarding, while others remain open. It has paired plank doors. This haystore is noted as an important unaltered survival from its period.
