Description

The Frith is a late 18th-century house. It is constructed of ashlar with a moulded cornice and parapet featuring coping. The roof is slate, with two ashlar ridge stacks moulded around their base and cap. The symmetrical facade has a band at first floor level and a cast iron circular tie plate. The house is two storeys and a basement, with a three-bay arrangement. It has 12-pane sash windows, and a barred two-light stone-mullioned window to the basement at ground level. The central door is set in a plain stone surround, with a three-panelled door, the outer two panels being glazed. A moulded flat stone hood is supported by cut stone brackets.
