Description

This is a ruined arch located at the north-east approach to the lower lake, 175 metres south of Pondsmead. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from rough hewn and very randomly laid rock, primarily Tufa. The arch has a romantically broken appearance and is approached by four steps.
