Description

Woolmersdon House is a small country villa dating to the early 19th century. It is built with a rendered finish, designed to resemble ashlar, and has hipped slate roofs and brick stacks. The building is rectangular in plan, with an irregular arrangement of predominantly sash windows featuring glazing bars and marginal lights. The front elevation, facing the road, is radiused, displaying a conforming style, with French windows on the ground floor. A door opening contains a four-panelled door, and is sheltered by a single-storeyed porch with semi-circular head openings. A stairwell at the rear has a semi-circular head and coloured glass.
