Description
No. 83 is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed with Flemish bond brickwork. It features a moulded band at the first floor, a moulded cornice band, and a brick parapet with coping. The roof is hipped and covered with fishscale tiles and plain tiles, with brick stacks. The building has a symmetrical front with two storeys and five bays, the central bay projecting slightly. It includes 12-pane sash windows with rubbed brick voussoirs and stone keys. The door opening is located on the right return and matches the style of the windows, featuring paired glazed doors and a cornice hood supported by consoles. To the right, there is a section of rubble wall divided into two sections, topped with dressed stone coping that ramps down. There are also a pair of tall stone piers with cross-gabled caps to the right, leading to wooden gates.
