Description
Ball Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The building is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a double Roman tile roof and features brick stacks. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high, comprising four bays with 2 and 3-light Gothick casements. The main entrance is through a half-glazed door located in the second bay, which is sheltered by a 20th-century porch. There is also a secondary entrance to the right, which is another half-glazed door. Inside, the farmhouse includes fireplaces with broad wooden bessumers and a roof constructed with cruck beams, along with additional lesser features from the 19th century.
