Description

Dyke House is a mid 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick with Ham stone quoins and stepped lintels above its openings. It features a hipped triple ridge tiled roof with boxed eaves supported by paired shaped brackets, and brick stacks that rise on the returns, with two on the left and one on the right. The building is double pile and stands two storeys high, comprising three bays with 12-pane sash windows. The central entrance is marked by a flush panel door and is adorned with decorative wooden trelliswork in the porch. This farmhouse is a good example of an unaltered mid 19th-century brick structure.
