Description
The coffin slab tomb, possibly from the 17th century, is located about 1.5 metres north of the nave of the Church of St. Andrew in Brympton d'Evercy. It is made of Ham stone and has a shallow coffin-shaped design that is approximately 350 millimetres thick. The tomb features a moulded base and a chamfered top, resting on two moulded stones positioned crosswise at the head and foot. These stones have a roll and cavetto on the curve, although they may not be part of the original tomb. There is no inscription on the slab.
