Description

Wenru is a house dated 1764, constructed from coursed rubble with a double roman tile roof and two rendered end rubble stacks capped with brick. The building features a nearly symmetrical facade, standing two storeys high with three bays. It has three light edge moulded stone mullioned windows, except for the centre window on the first floor, which has two lights. There is a 20th-century concrete gabled porch with paired half-glazed doors, leading to a plank inner door with a glazed panel. A stone plaque located directly beneath the centre window on the first floor is inscribed with "MWWM 1764".
