Description
Sunnyside and Alanah are two attached houses, originally four, built in the late 18th century with further alterations in the early 19th century. They are constructed of random rubble with tile roofs, featuring two rendered stacks on the left and two brick stacks on the right. The buildings are two storeys high, with three bays for Sunnyside and four bays for Alanah. They have 2-light mullioned windows in plain stone surrounds, except for two openings on the ground floor of Sunnyside, which have casements in similar surrounds. The central door opening to Sunnyside has a plain stone surround and features a 20th-century ribbed door with narrow sidelights. The door opening to Alanah also has a plain stone surround and includes a late 19th-century six-panelled door, which is accessed by a flight of three stone steps, with plain wrought iron handrails on each side.
