Description

The Beck monument is a chest tomb located about 13 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Nicholas. It dates from the mid-17th century and is made of Ham stone. The base is buried, and the tomb features plain ends and flanks, along with a chamfer-coved, heavy flat top. It commemorates Robert Beck of Dinnington, who died in 1663.
