Description
Fir Tree Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located in the parish of Pen Selwood, near Leigh Common. The cottage is constructed of local stone rubble, with a colourwashed finish, and has a Welsh slate roof with plain gables. Brick chimney stacks mark the ends. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. It features 16-pane sash windows set within segmental arched openings, with externally boarded shutters on all windows. Between the windows is a four-panel door, partly glazed, sheltered by a timber and plain tiled hood with wavy edged bargeboards. The interior has not been inspected.
