Description

Grove House is a house that has been converted into a nurses' home, dating from around 1800. The building features a rendered exterior with dressed quoins and a slate roof, complemented by brick end stacks. It has a symmetrical facade with two storeys and three bays. The late 19th-century sash windows are paired in plain stone surrounds on the ground floor, while the upper floor has single glazing bar sashes set in moulded surrounds. The central doorway is framed by a plain stone architrave and topped with a triangular pediment supported by moulded stone brackets, featuring a late 19th-century door.
