Description

The churchyard cross, located in the churchyard of the Church of St Hugh, dates from 1909 and is constructed from dressed stone in a 14th-century style. It features a square plinth with a set off and two octagonal steps, with the higher step bearing an inscription. The cross has a square socket, with its upper face being octagonal and adorned with broad convex broaches. The shaft is tapering and octagonal, culminating in a calvary.
