Description
Spearcey Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century and was altered in the early 19th century. It has a roughcast exterior over rubble, slate roofs with coped verges, and a large external brick stack on the left gable end. The building is L-shaped, consisting of two cells and a cross passage, with a wing at the rear and an agricultural range set at right angles. It is two storeys high with three bays featuring 19th-century three-light wooden casements. There is a central flat-roofed wooden Doric porch and a two-bay wing on the left return. The first floor has early 19th-century three-light leaded iron casements, while the ground floor has 20th-century metal windows. The interior has not been seen but may contain features of interest.
