Description
The Manor House is a detached house built in the late 18th century, located in Compton Pauncefoot Village. It is constructed from Cary stone ashlar and features a plain concrete tile roof with stepped coped gables and brick chimney stacks at either end. The building has two storeys and three bays. The sash windows, which have 12 panes, are set in plain surrounds. In the lower bay, there is a fully-glazed entrance door that is sheltered by an open portico porch supported by Doric columns and pilasters, complete with a full entablature featuring triglyphs. There is also a two-storey lean-to against the west gable. The interior has not been seen. The Manor House was formerly the farmhouse for Compton Farm.
