Description
Manor Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse built of coursed and squared random laid lias rubble with Ham stone dressings. It features coped verges and large ashlar stacks on projecting chimney-breasts at the returns, topped with a banded plain and fishscale tile roof in a Tudor style. The building is single storey with an attic and comprises three bays. The first floor has windows in gabled half-dormers, with each gable face displaying a stone plaque. The outer gables feature inter-locking initials "J.W.", while the central gable showcases an achievement. The windows are wooden-mullioned, with three and four lights and iron casements. There is a door opening between the second and third bays, which has an arch head and a ribbed door. At the rear, there is a wing built in a conforming style. The forecourt is enclosed by a lias wall with Ham stone capping.
