Plan: parallel range, entrance on west front with south wing set back slightly, wall abutting north east corner fronting L-plan stable yard on north front. Tudor style. West front: 2 storeys with attic and basement, 3 bays, all mullioned windows under hoodmoulds, stepped buttresses to gabled outer bays, blank shield left, 2-light window right, first floor 3-light flanking 2-light, ground floor left 3-light mullioned and transomed canted bay window rising from ground floor level, flanked by 2-light basement windows, left 3-light; buttressed central porch, gabled centre with shield, set back buttresses on right return, Tudor arch head door frame under hood would, ribbed and decoratively studded double doors approached by flight of 2 steps. Abutting north-west corner crenellated wall with Tudor arch head carriageway entrance to stableyard, single storey rendered stable block left, 2 storey brick coach house abutting. Garden front of 3 bays, stepped buttresses, similar fenestration and irregular 7-bay C20 wrought iron verandah to groundfloor reached by flight of 4 steps, swept back dwarf stone wall with Has stone piers. A good example of the Tudor style villa, unaltered apart from verandah and typical of this local architect.
