Description

The Vicarage is an early 19th-century vicarage, altered in the mid-20th century. It is constructed with a rubble core, rendered over, and features pilaster quoins. The building has a hipped roof covered in asbestos slate, overhanging eaves, a soffit board, and rendered stacks on the returns. It is a double pile building, with two storeys and three bays. The first floor has 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has 16-pane sash windows framing a semi-circular recessed doorway. This doorway contains a double 6-panel door, an Adam-style fanlight, and a contemporary bell pull and knocker. A 20th-century irregular five-bay verandah, with a lean-to glazed roof supported by wooden columns, extends across the front. 20th-century metal casement windows are present on the right return and at the rear. A photograph of the property is held within the National Monuments Record.
