Description

BURRILL WITH COWLING COWLING LANE SE 28 NW (west side, off) 3/61 The Mount (approximately 100 metres to west of 22.8.66 Cowling Hall) [formerly listed as The Mount (remains of Hall)] GV II Wall enclosing a small field with small 1-storey building at north-west corner. C12 and C17. Rubblestone wall, building incorporates carved and moulded stonework. Above the building 2 semicircular-headed windows. At various stages in the boundary wall there is dressed stone indicating doorways.
