Description

Lime Kiln Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with alterations from the late 19th century. It is built in a central-entry plan with a rear service wing. The farmhouse is rendered and colour-washed, with a slate roof, a pantile roof to the wing, and brick stacks. The two-storey, three-window front has a door with four recessed panels and a divided overlight, alongside four-pane sash windows with stone sills. Keyblocks are present above all openings. The gables are coped and have shaped kneelers, and there are end stacks. At the rear, the service wing features twelve-pane sashes with stone sills and plain stone lintels on both floors, along with an end stack.
