Description
The building is a barn located to the northwest of Leighton Farmhouse, originally a chapel from the 16th century, with significant alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubblestone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The left side has quoins, and there is a large board wagon door with a segmental arch on the right. To the left, there is a board door with a stone lintel. The barn also has two 19th-century window openings. Above the wagon door, there is a thin stone course running along the facade, which has three chamfered slit openings below it.
