Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 100 metres south of Nutwith Cote in Burton-upon-Ure. It dates from the early to mid 18th century and is constructed of rubblestone with ashlar dressings. The dovecote has a square plan and features quoins. There is a doorway with a lintel, and above it, there is a partially ruined oval window opening. The structure has a coved stone cornice. At the time of the last survey, the dovecote was in a state of dereliction.
